Econometrics of Scampi (Macrobrachium Rosenbergii) Polyculture in Selected Ponds at Sandeshkhali – I Development Block in North 24 Parganas District of Coastal West Bengal over the Year 2014

Applied Science, Fisheries Economics & Statistics
Abstract: For a social and economic standpoint prawn farming will remain an important part of the rural economy. From an environmental standpoint impacts of intensive prawn culture will only become exacerbated if the discharge of untreated effluent continues. This could have severe consequences for the industry in the future. Alternative systems, such as nutrient recycling systems, or alternative water treatment strategies are necessary to mitigate negative impacts in the future. The potential for higher farm income through remediation of currently idle ponds will provide a significant incentive for farmers to make them back on scampi farming. Factors encouraging prawn farming expansion are compatibility with agriculture, small farmers can practice in their own land, opportunities for wome...

The Segmentation Fusion Method On10 Multi-Sensors

Computer Engineering, Engineering
Abstract: The most significant problem may be undesirable effects for the spectral signatures of fused images as well as the benefits of using fused images mostly compared to their source images were acquired at the same time by one sensor. They may or may not be suitable for the fusion of other images. It becomes therefore increasingly important to investigate techniques that allow multi-sensor, multi-date image fusion to make final conclusions can be drawn on the most suitable method of fusion. So, In this study we present a new method Segmentation Fusion method (SF) for remotely sensed images is presented by considering the physical characteristics of sensors, which uses a feature level processing paradigm. In a particularly, attempts to test the proposed method performance on 10 multi-

To Detect Types of Adulteration Present in Milk Products

Applied Science, Chemistry
Abstract: Milk is a pale liquid produced by the mammary glands of mammals. It is the primary source of nutrition for young mammals before they are able to digest other types of food. Early-lactation milk contains colostrums, which carries the mother's antibodies to its young and can reduce the risk of many diseases. Milk contains many other nutrients and the carbohydrate lactose. An emulsion is a suspension of droplets of one liquid into another liquid. Milk is an emulsion of fat in water. Butter is an emulsion of water in fat. The solute is known as the dispersed phase and the solvent is known as the continuous phase. Other examples of emulsions include margarine, mayonnaise, cream, and salad dressing. A colloidal solution is when matter exists in a state of division in between a true sol...

Electronics and Communication Engineeering, Engineering
Abstract: Water is the most important Nature’s gift to the mankind. Without Water there is no life. Now man understood its importance, especially where water is not easily available. Now this is being managed by the proper manner in city areas where the use of water is more than its availability. This is one of the motivations for this research, to deploy computing techniques in creating a barrier to wastage in order to not only provide more financial gains and energy saving, but also help the environment and water cycle which in turn ensures that we save water for our future. In this paper we have discussed about design and implementation of water level control system which is wireless, automatic, cost effective and reliable. It uses two zigbee transceivers along with a controller each i

Demonetisation –Worst Effected the Small Traders

Commerce, Management
Abstract: - Demonetization is the process in which a particular currency or valuable mineral is degraded as a legal tender. This happens when a certain currency is no longer in regular use within the country of origin, or when a newer currency comes into circulation. The latest demonetisation, in India was the suddenly announcement by Prime Minister of India on 8th November at 8.30 p.m. that ` 500 and `1,000 notes would not be legal tender from midnight of 8th November 2016. The announcement was made much after banking hours thus giving no body a chance for any foul play. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) data suggests that the proportion of `500 and `1000 notes were 86.4% of total value of notes in circulation on March 31, 2016, amounting to `14 trillion. A lot of this money was also consi...
