Abstract: Digital technology has profoundly influenced higher education, reshaping traditional teaching and learning paradigms. This review paper synthesizes existing literature to examine the transformative impact of digital technology adoption in higher education. It explores various dimensions of this impact, including work practices, learning outcomes, institutional dynamics, and the roles of educators and students. Additionally, the paper discusses challenges and opportunities associated with digital technology integration, such as accessibility, digital literacy, and privacy concerns. Drawing from diverse research sources, this review provides insights into the evolving landscape regarding higher learning in the era of digitalization and offers recommendations for future research and practice.
